Brett's Rival was a versatile, honest and an incredibly tenacious chaser to the end of his career.

He is one of the fastest sons of Brett Lee to race around Albion Park where he racked up 7 wins. At his first race start at Albion Park he won by 6.25 lengths running a blistering 29.88s with splits of 5.73s - 11.60s - 12.55s). His second and third splits were ENORMOUS!!

He won his first trial at Albion Park in 29.96 seconds. Brett's Rival won a heat of the 2005 Queensland Derby on a rain affected track coming from behind in 30.11s - on the same night Black Enforcer led all the way in the other heat running 30.15s. He won his last Albion Park race at 4 years of age.

At the Gold Coast Brett's Rival had 10 starts for 7 wins. His best time was 25.82s and he broke the 26.00s mark on no less than 5 times.

On the Parklands Track he won his heat of the 2004 South East Quueensland Cup in 24.36s which was the Best of the Day for the 429m.

Brett's Rival comes from a very good litter with his littermates notching 107 wins.

Brett's Rival is by the great Brett Lee out of Fairy Wings.

Fairy Wings was a magnificent racebitch who broke the Meadows and Cranbourne Track Records, was a Group winner and won her first start at Sandown in 29.88 at 22 months of age.

Brett Lee and Fairy Wings have the great I'm Blessed ( Sobbing Sal's granddam and Ebony Park Lass's great granddam) in their respective dam lines.
